James Corden and Ruth Jones are working on the script for a new movie.

The comedy duo, who co-wrote and starred in the hit BBC show Gavin And Stacey, are in the early stage of working their magic on the screenplay, The Sun reports.

James was not giving much away about the plot, but teased: "We write stuff about people, we're good with people, so it's definitely not going to be like The Matrix or 2012."

Gavin And Stacey tells the story of a girl from Barry Island in Wales, who falls in love with a boy from Billericay in Essex and how their cultures clash when they get married.

Welsh girl Ruth and Essex lad James play Gavin and Stacey's respective best friends Smithy and Nessa.

James has starred in spoof zombie movie Lesbian Vampire Killers with his Gavin and Stacey co-star Matthew Horne, as well as appearing in several other British films.
