Dancers paid tribute to late star Patrick Swayze
Patrick Swayze's wife Lisa Niemi said her late husband was now "dancing with the angels" as she accepted an award on his behalf.
Lisa - who was married to the Dirty Dancing star for 34 years - collected the Rolex Dance Award at the fundraiser for Career Transition for Dancers, a group that helps dancers develop new careers after age or injury forces them to stop dancing.
A huge number of dancers turned out at the event in New York to honour former dancer and actor Swayze, who had been chosen as this year's honouree well before he died in September, following a battle with pancreatic cancer.
The star began his career as a dancer and went on to find fame in movies such as Dirty Dancing and Ghost.
